From 29th of August to 1st of September we celebrated the 3rd Aerial Arts Festival in Vienna @ F23 wir.Fabriken! This year we had a big group of over 20 international and local Trainers and over 200 participants celebrating their love for Aerial Arts, Hula Hoop and Yoga together!

Within this exceptional setting the three artists Eleni Danesi (GRC/D), Yolanda Richter (NL/AUT) and Daniela Staudinger (AUT) presented works on the subjects Aerial, Body & Habitates.
Also as part of the opening 10 national & international Aerialists & Floor Acrobatis were performing & giving us an insight in their way they move & express on the Apparatus. As part of the amazing show we saw performances on Aerial Silk, Rope and Hoop as well as Cyr Wheel and Bamboo Flow. It was an amazing opening and around 150 guests watched and enjoyed the show. Before and in the break there was a market space and gastro and chill area open for our guests.
From 30th of August to 1st of September the amazing workshop programm took place at the halls of F23. With 26 different 3day Workshops and 27 Open Trial Classes taking place in 9 different Workshopspaces we sweat learned and enjoyed exploring and moving together in many different ways.
With a variety of choices the participants could choose between Yoga Classes, Aerial Beginner Classes or Hula Hoop and Stretching. Our Partner Studios from Vienna and other parts in Austria presented their studios and their work. Our goal of bringing the Local Aerial Community together and connect studios and teachers worked really well.
This years programm of 3 day Workshops was the biggest ever in the Aerial Arts Festival history! We invited some amazing international Trainers like Tori Mcgrory (UK), Chris Gogler (Australia), Ariadna Vendelova (Slovakia), Simone Fluhr and Bernhard Häfner (Germany), Stephanie N´Durihahe (Czech Republic) and many more.... We had workshops in a lot of different disciplines like Aerial Yoga, Aerial Silk and Rope, Aerial Hoop, Aerial Straps, Bamboo Flow, Acro Yoga, Hula Hoop, Contemporary Dance, Cyr Wheel and more...
On Saturday evening, after a long day of workshops we came together to dance and celebrate in the air and on the floor with the great Live DJ David Zentrum.
This year we could offer our particpants delicious vegan food, cooked fresh @ the Festival by "das vegane Wohnzimmer", cold pressed juices by Urban Monkeys and the best coffee and cacao by Elimba Choc. In between the workshops and trial classes students could shop around the market area and relax in the hammocks provided by Ticket to the Moon or get a well deserved welness treatment from one of the Bodyworkers.
The 3rd Aerial Arts Festival in Vienna was a great experience and we thank all our Sponsors, Trainers, Karma Aerialists, Performers, Bodyworkers, Shop Owners and Partnerstudios for creating this big community event together!
